Also which make is best? I understood Sony or Toshiba---or should I try Samsung / LG?

i am looking for 42 inch --I have a budget of 700-800 GBP .

  1. Ebay !!! First I would go to the gadget shows website and see what they think is the best for that price range then i would see how cheap i could get it from ebay .


  2. I got my Sony bravia from the place in the link.It was the cheapest place i found on the net.And the customer service etc is fantastic.I always go here now for any new electrical stuff i want.Go for a Sony not any other make.

  5. I would recommend Samsung LCD. I 've found they offer super quality sound and H Def picture and last better than Hitachi of the same price. Cheapest prices depend on the model. Just before a new model comes out the price drops on the old stock usually. Or sometimes you can find discount codes and money off vouchers .
