  1. I've always found it better to change the currency in the country that you intend to stay.  Commissions taken by Bureaus are hefty to say the least. So, unless you need to pay for something as soon as you arrive, just change your money when you get to Bangkok.  Enjoy the trip!!

  2. I have heard that the airports are the most expensive places to exchange money. They are a rip-off. I would go to my bank where I lived just to get some money for the trip to where I was going and so that I had some money. Then I would go to a bank in Bankok and withdraw money. That is usually the cheapest way to do it.

  3. You don't have to pay the price at the bureau.

the cheapest ways to splash the cash abroad by examining foreign currency, plastic  exemple :credit cards, debit cards and prepaid cards) and travellers cheques

  4. I would wait until I get there and then use my ATM card to get cash.  Just make sure that your ATM card is accepted in those places.  If it has a Visa or Mastercard logo on it, you should be fine.
