No one site is always the cheapest.  If you want the cheapest ticket you just need to look around at a bunch of sites.

whichever airline you are flying with, go to their site and book your flight.

Start off with the travel website and then go to the airline offering the lowest fare.  Definitely you want to buy from the airline's website since sometimes the airlines have specials the travel websites do not know about.  Airlines have to pay a commission to the travel website if you book with the travel website so the airlines sometimes lowers their price in order to have you book with them.
