Where is the clearest water to vacation at?

I have seen pictures of people canoeing between rock formations and around rain forests and the water is crystal clear. Where are these areas and are there resorts to vacation at near them?

You want clear water.  Go to Crater Lake Oregon.  There is a lodge nearby if you aren't interested in "Roughing it", but the water is so clear that in places you can see the bottom, and it's 100 feet deep.  Also it is so clear that the horizon at the reflection looks exactly the same.  It is a trip.

St. Maarten (sp?) had really clear water when i went with my family

That would be Jamaica...the beaches in Negril are the clearest and so you'll have to chose the hotel u want to stay at.
