  1. If you mean the coldest, I would say the Bangkok subway system or the Skytrain.  The a/c is so high you freeze your butt off.

  2. Seems lots of people voted for Phu Rue, conventionally it's Doi Inthanon, the highest point in Thailand that probably once a year, the temperature drop below zero and you have a frost. They usually take the picture and put it on front page of Bangkok Post the next day. I mean it is really exciting for Bangkokians to see frost on the leafs, but think about it, the photographer also get to travel on top of the mountain and take the picture.. Probably enjoying good time once a year then.

  3. Phu Ruea in the province of Loie

  4. Phu Ruea!!! The coldest place in Thailand! The temperature will dip below 0 degrees!!!

  5. While Doi Inthanon will drop below freezing MAYBE once a year, the temperatures in Loei are historically lower.  Parts of the province experience heat over 40 degrees during April, but due to its geography, the temps plummet and by the time winter comes the temperatures routinely drop below freezing.

That said from April 1 to August 31, Doi Inthanon will be cooler (on average) from April 1 to mid-may.  From June to the end of august, Loei will be cooler.

Been there done that.  Got the pictures.

you can wikipedia both doi inthanon and loei, and the articles there make it pretty clear which place is cooler, and when.

    Hope it helps.

  6. I will go with IceCube on this. Doi Inthanon will be cold at the period you ask for, while Phu Reau will be coldest during the winter time.
