These are usually located close to the bottom of the block and the top of the oil pan. They are not difficult to change as there is only the connection and one bolt. The difficulty comes if the sensor has some built up c**p on it where it hangs inside the motor as it is very difficult to remove. If it breaks off, you are in big trouble. I've had to remove oil pans to get them out. I'd take it to a mech who knows what to do.
