Is there a reset button? I've already cleaned the coils, and unplugged it. The fan is still working. The freezer seemed to be working.

  1. When you say the fan is working, is it the condenser fan by the compressor or the freezer fan inside the freezer compartment.  Open the freezer and hold down the light switch.  If you here a fan running, great.  If not, that most likely is your problem because that fan is what moves the cold air into the refrigerator compartment.  If the fan is running open one side of your ref and hold down the light switch.  On the back wall of the ref towards the top is where the cold air comes in.  Hold your hand by the vent and see if you feel cold air coming in.  If you don't them most likely the problem is your damper.  The last problem it could be is a defrost problem.  Just look at the back wall of the freezer compartment.  If there is a lot of frost then you have a defrost problem.  About 90% of the time I've come across with the symptoms that you have described it has been the freezer fan motor.

  2. Most newer refrigerators have electronically controlled damper doors that control air flow between the compartments. If the freezer temp. is between zero & 10 above, that is probably the problem.
