  3. The Eastern edge of Europe goes from the very North of the continent on the Arctic down the Ural Mountains and borders the Caspian Sea from the city of  Astrokan near the Kazakstan border and down to the border with the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Caucasus Mountains.

    The Western edge of Russia borders Finland in the very North near the region called Lappland, and goes south via the Baltic Sea, Estonia, Latvia, Belarus, Ukrane, and down the Black Sea to the Republic of Georgia in the Caucasus Mountains.
