you can replace it if you can get a computer from a vehicle with the same year, make, model, engine, and transmission. You can find the location of the computer at www.autozone.com. look in repair info then select component locations and put in your vehicles info. Your ecm should be  Front seating area, center, under dash, front of console, mounted on floor panel
