Where is the element lead ususally found, like what state, continent. Also what type of rocks is it found in?

I need to know what rock its found in like metamorphic, sedimentary etc.....

  1. Lead is found just about everywhere there has been hydrothermal, volcanic activity. Ore such as lead sulfide (the most common), lead sulfate, and lead carbonate are mined for lead.

    These ore minerals are associated with volcanic and igneous intrusion activities.

  4. Lead is found in rocks mostly as mineral and not as an element. The most common mineral of lead is Galena (lead sulphide) and it is found in all types of rocks (sedimentary, igneous and metamorphic) but, it has strong affinity to carbonate rocks like limestone/dolomite,   marble and calc-silicate rocks.
