The center of the 48 continental states is where Jonasfresh01 says, near Lebanon Kansas.  There is a plaque marker to mark the spot.

However, the exact center for all 50 states is located in Belle Fourche South Dakota. There is a monument and marker here too.

The geographic center of the lower 48 states is considered to be in northern Kansas near the town of Lebanon.  The geographic center of North America is in Rugby, North Dakota.
