Where is the fuel filter located on a 1994 Pontiac firebird?

i searched and the page for WikiAnswers - will not open so do you know some where I can look? OR maybe you can just tell me where it is and how hard it is to change:)

it should be on the frame on the driver side below the door (inside the frame).

probably in the same place as my 1988 olds. is, on the drivers side back by the back tire.

it is located most likely along your frame rail close to your gas tank. it probably uses 2 wrenches on one side and a clip on the other. just push in each side of the clip at the same time and pull the line off. tip if you tie rags around your wrist it will keep fuel from running down your arms. and also make sure key off and gas cap off.   and yea you probably need a fuel fiter they should be changed every year.

Your fuel filter is located under the vehicle, just forward of the fuel tank where the floorpan flattens out.  It doesn't require special tools to remove and install.  Just make sure there are no open flames when removing, because when you use your wrench to crack open the first line, there will possibly be a small spray of fuel that comes out due to the pressure still in the line.  Be prepared to "get some on you".  The hardest part of this job is jacking the car up and supporting it so it doesn't fall on you...

L f answer was good but it was for a Porsche. Your car fuel filter is located under the car. At the back by the rear just near the gas tank. Look under the car and trace the fuel line going to the tank. A clip will need to be pushed in and takes a tool that you can purchase from the parts store.
