Question:

Where is the fuse located for my electric seat?

Hey,

I own a 1995 mondeo and the fuse I think has blown to move the electric seat forwards and backwards etc. Now I know that the fuses are under the dashboard but I have NO idea which fuse is the one I need to change for the seat as there is no diagram to state.

Does anyone know which one it would be ?

Thank you in advance

YW

  1. Sorry, don't know what individual fuse it is, but check all the fuses - the one that has blown will have a split in the wire at the top - replace with the correct rated fuse and hopefully that will solve the problem.

  2. Hi,

There may not be a separate fuse for the seat. It could all be wired on the same circuit with all the other local electrics.

The only options are to take the vehilce to a mechanic/garage, or for another user to have had the same problem themselves, who knows where it is.

It may not be the fuse, there are other faults that could prevent the seat from working correctly.

  3. passenger footwell acording to the link below....

  4. Look in the service part of the car manual. its likely to tell you the location of the fuse and the type and amps it will need to be replaced with.

No28  Headlight Washer Motor / Electric Seat Motors

    Passenger Footwell Green 30amps

Easy check try your Headlight Washers, if they do not work it's that fuse.
