What they said, except for in the vertical stab. That would make calculating the CG pretty dang hard, and nose gear liftoff pretty quick.

In the wings and in the center of the Aircraft, close to the wingbox, and some Aircrafts like the A300or A310 and i think 747SP have fuel in the Vertical stabilizers.
