  1. In the center of the belly  and the wings.

    A center tank

    Left Wink tank - there is an inner cell which directly feeds the  engine.

                              - there is an outer cell

                              - surge vent tank.

    Right Wing tank - same as the left.

    B747-400

    A Center Tank

    Left wing main tank

    Right wing main tank

    Horizontal stabilizer left & right tank.

  3. What they said, except for in the vertical stab. That would make calculating the CG pretty dang hard, and nose gear liftoff pretty quick.

  6. In the wings and in the center of the Aircraft, close to the wingbox, and some Aircrafts like the A300or A310 and i think 747SP have fuel in the Vertical stabilizers.
