  1. My favourite is in the suburbs, not the city. Its called Giovannas and its in Kingsford on Anzac Parade. The food is amazing & the prices are great.

Theres also Little Italy. There are a few around the St George / Sutherland area.

    Or (obviously) Norton Street Leichhardt.

  2. theres one in south sydney, on the way to the opera house from the rocks, opposite the boat area where you get on for the cruises, I cant remember the name though sorry!

  3. as you may know, Leichhardt in Sydney is the main Italian area, some of the restaurants there are a bit overpriced though, especially ones in the Italian Forum. one that is reasonably priced is called Anna and Aldo's, it is on Norton street, quite close to Parramatta Road. my other favourite is called Moretti, it makes the best pizza, very similar to the true Italian ones, also on Norton Street, they also do pasta etc. there are also some good italian places in Haberfield, not far from Leichhardt, espcially Napoli in Bocca, which also does great pizza etc.

  4. Just stroll down Norton St Leichhardt!  Every second place is an Italian Restuarant and they range in prices.  You can read the menus out the front as well.  It gets more expensive in the "Forum" but it's really great atmosphere.  There is one restuarant in that street called No Names and for about $10 you get a huge schnitzel and pasta - all on the one plate and all delicious.  It's a bit of a get you in, get you out type place but if you are looking for value and great tasting food, that's the place to go.

Be careful to read the menus though, all these places vary in price a lot!  I've found the cheapest Italian meals are often better than the expensive ones.

Also the street itself is nice with pubs and bars and coffee houses, it's always busy.  There is no other place in Sydney with that many Italian restuarants in the one spot.

There are a few at the Rocks but they are expensive.
