Where is the good area to live close to ryde?

my husband will be going to school in northern sydney institute, i think that's in ryde, pls. help me where is the best place to live that's not too far from his school. I have kids to raise and i prefer safe and close to everything. Thanks for your help.

What about Meadowbank?  Your husband may be attending Meadowbank TAFE or Ryde TAFE (both are in the Northern Sydney Institute of TAFE).  An advantage of Meadowbank is transport as it is on the railway, has access to buses and water transport on the Parramatta River rivercat.
