  1. Fan Si Pan peak, 10,312 ft (3,143 m) high, between the Red and Black rivers, NW Vietnam, near the Chinese border, is the highest point in Vietnam, reachable from the popular Sapa mountain resort area.


  2. It is indeed.... Fan si Pan!  Very accessible from the mountain village of Sapa.  Beautiful environment and scalable without serious alpine equip (in season)
