Where is the highest rate of survival?

Question

Given man's basic instinct for staying alive, where would he most likely survive?

- getting lost in the desert

- getting lost in the woods

- getting lost at sea

- or getting lost in New York City (make that Manila for us Filipinos)

My survival rate would be highest in Manila because it is not just a city.  It is my city.   I speak the language, and know lots of people personally.   Our countrymen are also kind to strangers, specially those who appear lost, and would extend their hospitality without a second thought.

Of course,  I can only hope that I do not get lost around the area where this guy lives.   You know this guy?  The guy who always asks about the "morbidity rate in the Philippines".

I am a boy scout, therefore I would survive in the woods rather than Manila or anywhere else.  =)

i would say first, the city,

2nd the woods.

man's resourcefulness will help him survive the city.

it is almost impossible to survive the desert, unless you're bear grills. and to get lost in the sea with just a raft, is hopeless.

Getting lost in the woods. Plenty to eat there

If you lost in the desert you will die for lack of water.  

If lost at sea, you will die of exposure, starvation, lack of water, eaten by a shark.

If lost in Manila or NYC someone will just kill you

but getting lost in love is the hardest one to survive, arrg

i did survived but it took years to heal the wounds, ouch

now i learned my lesson, never to misadventure in love again. lol
