It is the membrane (skin) that covers the external vaginal o*****e in a virgin, or a girl who has never had it "popped."  When you hear the term "pop her cherry," that is the specific reference.  It means breaking the hymen in a sexual manner.  It can be done by a tampon, or another manner, as well.  I know a girl how had her hymen busted by a canoe.

Ummm.  Back to the Heart Shaped Box song, I think that it means that you are supposed to "wait."  I saw a previous question which you had asked about what color of eyes your child would have?  I didn't reply because I was working on some other things and because I couldn't recall how to do the equation.  We learned how to determine the odds of such things in junior high.  Anyway, I think that it means that you are supposed to wait.
