  1. IAT sensor is the Intake Air Temperature Sensor.  It allows the ECM/PCM (engine computer) to sense the temperature of the air in the intake manifold.  On most 1997 Neons with 2.0 DOHC engines, it is integrated with the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) Sensor.  It is located/inserted at about the center of the intake manifold held by two small screws.  There are four wires attached to the common connector.  Two are for the IAT and two are for the MAP.
