  1. I believe it's in Japan. It's called the Steel Dragon. It has a lift hill of 320 feet and drops at a 69 degree angle.

Rumor has it that NASA is contributing to what is billed to be the world's largest coaster supposedly called "Orion".

Up until the Steel Dragon, Millenium Force was the largest but no longer.

This is all according to CNN so if I'm wrong, blame them.

  2. I just know it's not in the U.S.

  3. X3 i believe at Six Flags

  4. kingda ka at six flags great adventure in jackson township new jerseys, USA

  5. Kingda Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure is the tallest and the fastest in the world. Located in New Jersey.

  6. ultimaterollercoaster.com says-

"Jackson, NJ -- Six Flags Great Adventure will build a new record breaking roller coaster named Kingda Ka for the 2005 season. The new "rocket coaster" will accelerate to 128 mph in 3.5 seconds and reach a height of 456 feet, making it the tallest, fastest roller coaster in the world."

  7. Kingda Ka  was but I heard that was shut down, and not to re-open, and it made the top thrill dragster at Cedar Point the tallest again

  8. Here's what wiki says:

Steel Dragon 2000 is a roller coaster at Nagashima Spa Land Amusement Park in Mie Prefecture, Japan. Built by Morgan Manufacturing, this gigacoaster opened, appropriately, in 2000 - "The Year of the Dragon" in the Far East. It debuted only months after Millennium Force and surpassed the Cedar Point coaster as the world's tallest complete-circuit coaster. It also set a record for longest track length - 8133 feet, 2 inches (2479 m), which it currently holds.
