Where is the left tail light /brake light located? is it in the panel on the side of the back wall?

go out to your car and turn on the lights. the white light on the rear is your tail light. Place a heavy brick on your brake pedal and you will see your brake light.

Goto the back of your car, the red lens cover on the drivers side rear is the spot you are talking about.  If your headlights are on, the lens will appear lit in the color red, if you put a brick or have someone step on the brake pedal, the lens will become much brighter, thus this is your brake light, if you put on your left turn signal the tail light will strt flashing.  The white part of the lens or sometimes clear is your reverse light.  Which mens if you put the car in reverse the light will come on.  Do not stand behind your car with it in reverse.  Use a mirror or a friend.
