  1. He's THIRD IN POINTS!!!!!!!!!! How is that poor racing? Obviously you're a Jr. hater, and that's fine, just do a cerebellum removal of sphincter before you talk. He's been very consistent, and when he's had a bad run, it hasn't usually been his fault. So you're biased but nobody really gives a c**p what you think anyhow.

  2. I hate answering a question with a question but what the h**l are you talking about? Ever heard of pesky little things called facts and logic. I sure wish I was a poor enough driver to hold onto 3rd place in the points even when in the middle of a drought. And thank you to all of the non-Jr. fans for being sensible enough not to jump on the bashwagon. Yes I am a Jr. fan, but I'm also a pragmatist. One last thing about this "question". 80% of all questions are statements in disguise. This one is somebody trying to start c**p by making a point. Point is, you're a nitwit. LOL

  3. There is no line because it's bascially the same thing. Jr's won 2 Busch Titles and 17 Cup races, and put up career numbers similar to Matt Kenseth, I really don't see how poor of a driver he really is. Yes he does make mistakes every now and then, but then again what driver doesn't. h**l other drivers have gone through even longer losing streaks than he has(Burton,Newman) and no one bags on them. Yes, he would'nt be as popular if his name was Dale Smith, but I don't think people would be bashing on him as much either.

  4. i feel bad for him everyday... i feel bad evertime he races at daytona to go to the place were his dad lost his life that has to suck... i feel bad when people ask him everyday about his dad death, i feel bad that his own step mothers was cruel and was mentally abussive to him... i feel bad that he can not find a woman who loves him for him and not his money and racing career. i feel bad that people do not think he has the potential to win races and a championship...and further more i feel bad that him and his dad did not have the best relationship, and he never got to tell his dad how much he loved him and was proud to race just like him....

  5. The line is this. When you put your name at the top of the page it means you are seeking knowledge. To seek knowledge you have to ask a question. When the question is directed at pointing out how bad you hate a driver, or think he is c**p isn't seeking knowledge. It's called ranting. Not only that but someone who does that is also trying to stir up trouble. That is called trolling.

When you ask a question just ask yourself  are you trying to gain knowledge (which is the purpose of Yahoo Answers) or are you trying to make a statement (which is against community guidelines)

Some people don't ask questions but just come here to chat and put a question mark at the end of the sentence.

That is the line. "Seeking Knowledge"

See your question isn't related to seeking knowledge. How does you knowing how everyone feels about Jr's driving help you gain knowledge? To me your question is chat or trolling because it states basically that Jr is a poor driver.  There is no knowledge gained by your question. It is a poor question and that is also against community guidelines (posting a lot of low quality questions)

  6. Jimbo, We can all sit in our recliners on sunday afternoon in the airconditioning and ask these questions. Heck we can even go to a race and sit in the sun and roast our tails off, put up with drunken fans of all drivers, watch them toss junk on the track. (and they are not all jr fans. I saw people throwing cans that had on kyle shirts and martin shirts). Not a one of us has put our butts in the seat of a race car at speed to see just how hard in fact it is to drive one of these slipping and sliding cars around the track. Yet we are more than happy to bash a driver we do not like or think is a bad driver, when in fact they are out there every weekend doing what we can only dream of doing. We in fact do not know JACK! we can only guess as to why so and so is or isn't winning. If we dislike them we make irresponsible, uneducated, slanderuos, remarks.

People that dislike jr would bash him regardless of what he was doing on the track. He is 3rd in points dude! So you tell me. If he losses it is because he is a bad driver, if he wins he got lucky or they gave it to him. If thats true then Hillary should be a shoe in for President! NOT!!!!!!

I can not comment on his driving since I have no experience in doing that, but I have been around this world for a while and I have experience being human and dealing with other humans and as a human I would have to say Jr is a good person and does plenty to earn the respect he deserves. And as for the remark I keep hearing about his being given everything and having a golden spoon, read his and his fathers bio and become educated before making such foolish remarks. He earned that seat not because he is an Earnhardt but because he is good. Deal with it!

  7. How in the world do you criticize someone for poor racing when he is sitting in third in the points standings?  I dont understand.

  8. Sometimes I do feel sorry for him.  I felt sorry for him for what his stepmother did.  I believe that Dale Sr. meant for DEI to be for his kids. It must have been really painful to walk away from his dad's dream.  That being said......

No bashing here.  he isn't a GREAT racer. Never was.  Thats not even opinion...it's fact.  Also, the guy is so arrogant.  It isn't even all about racing it's all about how he thinks so highly of himself.  And his fans...he didn't have many fans when his dad was alive.  Well he had his father's fans (me included)...so after his dad died they all went with him by default (me included).  now though...he's got it in his head that every fan in the stands are his and his arrogance does not match his racing. If he were a great racer, talented many wins a championship or two under his belt I would say...OK...he has bragging rights.  But he doesn't. So he doesn't have bragging rights.

I am sorry if you may consider this bashing as I am not a fan but you ask why and I told you.

  9. No, I feel bad for Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson. The reason why I feel bad for them is that they would likely be 1-2 in points like last season if Hendrick was not giving Junior the best equipment. He doesn't deserve it and has not earned it. Give your best drivers the best cars and watch what they can do with it.

  10. Jr's racing isn't poor he's doing good so what he's in a dry spell it happens to alot of drivers!! And no I don't feel bad for him because I know he'll get his win!!

edit: That was an awesome answer smokengirl20 !!!

  11. The thing is, his racing isn't poor!

That's what I don't get, I'm NOT a jr. fan, but man, these people make him sound like he's the worst driver to ever hit the track! There are worse, ALOT worse.

He's not the first, the only or the last driver who has ever endured a dry spell, it's just because he's the most popular that so much attention is paid to it.

Add: Yes, I do feel bad for the guy, to the point that I've been DEFENDING him!!! OMG, Jr. WIN SO I DON'T HAVE TO DO THAT ANYMORE!!! ;)

  12. Not a fan of Jr & he may be in 3rd in points but unless he gets a win, he's not going to win championship.  He has had some bad luck but ne still needs to win to get a championship

  13. Well criticism is pretty self explanatory if you feel he isn't doing all that well then that is fine(by the by 3rd in points, where was he this time last year?) Bashing is not doing anyone any good but stroking that particular person's ego.  Most of the bashing seems to entail the usual that he can't drive at all and isn't good for anything that kind of stuff

  14. There's hope for this place after all!  A perfect chance to bash, and you ALL (for the most part) took the higher ground!  I'm so proud of the Nation...and those of you living just outside the border.  LOL.

As has been said already...3rd in points right now w/o winning is decent at worst. He's finished top 5 in final points several times, won 6 races in 2004 (that's hard for even the great ones to duplicate year after year), and has been up front more often than not this year.  He's even lead the most laps of anyone who hasn't won a race this year...and that's pretty good considering some of the guys who haven't won yet...Gordon AND Stewart included...

  15. I'm far from a Jr. fan, but it seems to me he's doing pretty good.  He'd be even higher up but has had some bad luck.
