Hi..... I was wondering where the longest rail tunnel was in the United States

Their is one going toward Reno NV. It is up in the mountains on the California side. I went through it when I rode on Amtrak to Reno 5 years ago. I think that the conductor said it took 5 mins to go through it.

Others have answered correctly that the Cascade Tunnel in Wa is the longest, but at 7.8 miles, 12.5 Kilometers in length. Flathead is 7.01 miles long and Moffat is 6.2 miles.

Flathead is the same length as Cascade.  So they are both the longest.
