  1. Snowbird, Utah is what USA today says.

    I say Mammoth, CA is an awesome place.lots to do,great slopes,i love skiing/snowboarding mammoth. i havent personally been on the slopes in the summer but i know people who ski on the 4th of July in perfect "Spring skiing" conditions. some of the winter storms can get pretty nasty though...
