  1. It came from the scientists working at the Cerne accelerator on the French/Swiss border.

  2. There is no "main internet"....it is just a system and network of servers worldwide that are interconnected. Some of the search engine companies obviously have many more servers and actual hardware but there is no one big computer somewhere spouting out information.

  3. it came from the military, the army I think it used to be arpanet

try a google search on arpanet

  4. search it on google --- am not going to look up all that info for u

  5. It is at Mount Cheyenne. You watch too much South Park. Goodness.

  6. DARPA started it to build better atom bombs

Since then it has just grown as more people became connected

    Where is it? - It's a decentralized network - so it's worldwide

  7. as far as i am aware the intenrret as you know it today was invented by a british dude called Tim berners-lee at a place called Cern(worth a good look up, there currnelty making a "Black hole machine" (if you belive populatr media), who handily made the patent public too, or it would still be a gov't thing.

there were interent-like things aroudn before he made the modern interent, but were basic things, and didnt mesh togethere with each other properly.

as for where it is, there isnt any  exact palce, theres thousands of servers (maybe millions) across the globe
