About an 1.5 hr drive from Canon City, Colorado.

2 hr drive from Colorado Springs, Colorado

Once you see the big "S" on the hill side you know your there.

I really enjoy going to Estes Park, Colorado.(about 70 miles north of Denver, Colorado) With world class hiking and climbing, fishing, golfing, sightseeing, wildlife watching, galleries, unique shopping, an array of dining choices, options in lodging to meet every taste and "Rocky Mountain National Park" out the back door, there's something in Estes Park just for you. Luray, VA -  Moondance Cabin - ok hear me out.  We rented this cabin for New Years Eve.  Just the two of us. It was the most unforgettable vacation to this day, and as being a travel agent I have been every where.  We had lobster flown in from Maine with a whole package meal deal from www.lobstergram.com - it was snowing, in the hot tub on the deck over looking the mountains, it was peaceful and romantic.  We didn't want to leave. Sure it wasn't the Ritz - but it was my moment of zen... even if it was only a weekend break from the real world.
