the most expensive land would be in areas that Egyptians prefer  like Zamalek, Heliopolis , Dokki , Al 3ubour , Al Sherouk  bec an apartment in these places is expensive , a metre would cost thousands .

al da2ery would be expensive , but not like the ones i mentioned bec they are surrounded by low class buildings , a metre would cost half as much as the others .

believe me man, i lived in Egypt my whole life and its the first time i know that Egypt uses a (( Dollar )) currency !!!!

I thought the Egyptian currency was

(( LE : Livre Egyptienne )) in French

(( Egyptian Pound ))  in English

The most expensive are mentioned already in the answers but I would add the missing Heliopolis (eg Korba) and Kattameyya has shot up in price, Mohandeseen, and of course the more desirable areas of Maadi.

I know for a fact that on the ring road - in the new developments a sq metre in some areas is precisely 1700LE as of 1st July 2008.
