    Unfortunately the Savoy Hotel on the Strand (nice and expensive) is closed this year for refurbishments.

    Never mind, there's always the Ritz Hotel on Piccadilly - another expensive place.

    The most expensive part of London is the part of Kensington by Kensington Palace.

    Kensington Palace Gardens is London's most expensive street (priced by £ per square foot).

    Nearby, in Upper Phillimore Gardens, a house sold for £80 million in February.

    But the most expensive sale yet in London took place in March, when a flat in 8 St James’s Square sold for more than £115 million.
