  1. Definitely the UK.  There is a huge Asian population, many of whom are vegetarian.  This makes finding vegetarian restaurants, menus and food items easy.

The US is pretty veg friendly, particularly on the West Coast.  Though NOT in the South.

  2. Well, i'm in the UK and i don't beleive I'm ever more than 20 miles from somewhere that serves great veggie food, so in my book thats pretty veggie friendly.

Here is an example of one UK guide, there are many more:

  3. where or which????

  4. In principle, probably the countries where Buddhism or other religions beliefs that discourage the consumption of meat is the prime belief system. India by the way, belongs in this group.

If you mean in practice, you can include poor, third world countries in Africa, Asia and or Latin/South America where meat consumption is limited or practically non existent due to higher costs and marginal living  conditions. These are "practicing" vegetarians not  by choice but due to economic circumstance.

  5. Probably the UK. As of 2003 it was estimated that there were between 3 and 4 million vegetarians in the UK one of the highest percentages in the western world, and around 7 million people claim to eat no red meat.

I live in Texas too, but I don't have to drive too far to get a veggie burger since I live in San Antonio. However, as a vegan I feel out of place living in the South, that is why after college I am off to NYC! :)

  6. Japan. A lot of their meals consists of rice, sea vegetable, vegetables, etc. You just have to be careful of sodium.

  7. Japan, hands down.

  8. Despite its overall massive consumption of meat, the US has some very vegetarian friendly areas, particularly on the West Coast like Portland, San Francisco, Seattle and other bigger cities like New York.

I imagine it might be more difficult in the midwest or the south...

  9. i think philippines...coz they got many places where they plant vegetables and fruits

  10. In Britain, it must be London, Bristol or Brighton.

    Greece is good.

    Berlin is very good apparently.
