unfortunately, wives are permitted on all beaches in Australia. I don't know about NZ. They may be more progressive over there.

Do you mean without waves? Aldinga beach in Adelaide is a lovely beach without waves, but there are plenty others.

A beach is a beach is a beach - here is Aus they are all b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l - with or without wives - or do you really mean waves as person above said - NQ beaches are protected from large waves by the Great Barrier Reef so they are less wavy but beautiful all the same....    =>
