Where is the oil filter located on a 2007 Hyundai Azera 3.8 engine?

  1. It's located on top of the engine underneath the plastic cover. You'll see a black plastic cap. The filter is a cartridge. When you take it out it makes a horrible mess. Also, if you don't tighten the black plastic filter cap. it will leak like crazy.
