September 11, 2001, was nearly seven years ago. After the attacks of the cowardly extremist's, America's population, on a great level, all were bonding together. Where a person was hard pressed to find flags, yellow ribbons, ect; we now see flags gone from flag poles, flags in rags on others. Did the people of America so soon forget after the events of Pearl Harbor?

  1. There could be Patriotism in banding  together to introduce The Human Right To Peace into The Constituition to help prevent  future Resource Wars. The next step to remove all possible reasons for acrimony through The Human Right To own The Planet and conserve resources. After this the flags could fly again .

  2. Most people in the US are poorly educated on what it takes to survive as a free people in the dog eat dog world so, as soon as it takes more then a few months to accomplish, they get bored and start making comments to "look cool" to their friends which morphs into "bring the troops home".  This short memory problem is what so many are banking on to defeat the US and its concept of the world's countries living in peace.  It worked in Vietnam where after the Viet Cong's huge defeat in the Tet offensive, the US gave up and went home.  Many now espouse the cut and run doctrine not because it makes sense and not realizing that it is a recipe for future and higher casualty war, but because it is the "cool" thing to say.  Yes, the memory of what weakness brings seems to be short to the point of nation retardation.

  3. No, we are pissed because our government lied to us. Fact is we invaded the wrong country. It was Alqida, a terrorist group based in afganistan that was responsible for 9/11. We invaded Iraq and captured Saddam Hussein . The Iraqis had nothing to do with it. There is not a single government document from Iraq which shows any affiliation with alqida. And in the interogation of Saddam Hussain himself. Saddam said that he hated Husamo bin Ladden and alqida. he said He saw them as a threat to his regime. As a matter of fact there had been a small war between these two people in the 90's that almost no one in the U.S. new about. Its a strange concept but if we had looked more deeply into the issue and hadent had been so gun ho, the U.S. could have actually gotten Saddam to help us take out alqida. Pretty freaky huh?

Bush senior had a war with iraq in 1991. If we had had any other president, any other, i dont care who, i garentee you we would have never invaded Iraq. This hole war was a personal agenda of the Bush family, you can belive the propoganda if you want to. But the facts are we had no reson to invade iraq. NON!!!

  4. It's really unfortunate that our great country has such a short attention span. We need to bond now more than ever in the effort to maintain our dignity.

  5. They have a more pressing agenda. The need for a revolution. This administration has hijacked America to line it's own pockets and now they're considering for the first time ever disarming the people. Why's that?Easier to contain the disgruntled masses?

  6. i hope not

  7. Our military, and certain intelligence assets are at war, but we have not yet become a nation - a people - at war. I am still afraid that it will take another attack on US soil to drive the point home that we are in a war with a determined enemy, though I certainly hope not. If that happens, I pray it puts steel in the American spine and inspires a remorseless pursuit of victory in our people, because  this war will not be won until we do to our enemy what Sherman did to Georgia. The legal beagles, euro-weenies, and hyper-sensitive won't like that, but it is so. War is force - disciplined violence with the intention of breaking the enemy's will or killing him. We can win their friendship after the war. Until that time, we must face the facts. Our enemy will not permit a truce (a la Korea). We cannot afford a defeat (a la VietNam). And one cannot achieve victory with half-measures. The sooner our enemy fears us, the sooner we will win - and the fewer people (on both sides) who will die in the process.
