Where is the pcv valve located on the 97 golf mk3 gl 16 please?

well, as you may of heard before: there is no pcv valve... apparently (i dont buy it). although there is something... that circular black piece located between the intake hose and the intake manifold, you will notice several inlets, one of which connects to the intake hose. since this part it is not called a pcv valve, im not exactly sure if it serves the exact same function, it atleast serves in place of a pcv.
