Thanks in advance.

My photo and my wife's photo were switched on Advanced Parole approval. (I 131)

My question is: where is the photo on green card come from?

Is it the photoes we sent to USCIS?

or

Is it the one they take, when they collect our fingerprint?

(By the way, I don't remember whether they took photo of me at that time.)

Does anyone knows it? Thank you very much!

  1. green cards pictures are taken @ the same time you apply  for it....or maybe you can ask your Parole officer maybe he can answer your Question.....

  2. I never sat for a photo for my green card.  I discovered upon looking at it, that it was taken without my knowledge during the interview process!!  Weird but true.

  3. First of all, there is no photo in AP approval notice. I think you are talking about EAD Card. If USCIS made mistake swapping the pictures of you and your wife, you need to make an appointment through Info Pass to correct the mistakes. http://infopass.uscis.gov/

Second of all, pictures were taking when you went to Biometrics appointment.  USCIS took fingerprints and pictures and those pictures are used for your EAD Card and Green Card.
