  1. if you look at the top of the locomotive you will see one or more fans.  The radiator will be located directly below those fans, and there might be a grill on either side of the locomotive.

    Passenger locomotives may have 2 radiators since most of them have a separate diesel motor to supply power to the passenger cars in the consist.


  2. Normally the radiator's will be fitted to the sides on the of the locomotive engine train. If you look at one in a station you will see a grill in the side.

  3. In the Long Hood.
