Question:

Where is the radiator plug on a 1996 oldsmobile ciera?

I believe i have a leak in one of the hoses. trying to flush the system and need to know where the plug is on the radiator so i can drain it for the flush solution. i'm pretty screwed right now if i cant get this done. PLEASE help! ASAP. Thanks.

  1. I asked my sister, she drives one, and works full time with cars...

    she said its on the drivers side, bottom of the rad...  she said its a quarter inch wide, and there is a wing nut holding it on...

  2. since it is a GM, and i have a Pontiac, I'm guessing it's where mine is...

    check under the car, on the back side of the radiator, bottom right hand corner. there should be a small valve there. my perspective is lying under the car, face up, head towards the rear end of the car.  

  3. it should be on the bottom, probably on the driver,s side, but if there,s none, then you will have to remove the bottom radiator hose.

  4. Stand in front of you car. The plug should be on the right side inside bottom for the radiator

  5. Pretty sure it should be on the back side of the radiator, lower drivers side corner. It doesn't look like the old-fashioned pet-c**k though. It's just like a thin flat plastic k**b, slightly recessed into a circular depression.
