  1. thats a hard one umm upstairs can callapse and fall 2 ur death but downstairs u can get crushed but i would be downstairs and hide under a table lol

  2. Safest place is out in the open, so don't go upstairs.

If you're downstairs and you cant get out, stand in a doorway, the door frame may give you some protection

  3. starry eyed is wrong not outside...YOU DEFINETLY NOT WANT TO GO OUTSIDE DURING AN EARTHQUAKe......but ummm i dont know i think maybe hmmmm...downstairs?but try not beleive me a guess

  4. outside.

  5. earth quakes only last a few seconds and by the time you typed this it was likely over. If you experience an earth quake take cover under a sturdy table or in a door way or at least get against an "inside wall". Do not try to go up or down stairs to be on a safer floor. In the event of a seriously strong quake it doesn't matter what floor you are on. if the building is going to come down you are screwed either way.
