Where is the spare tire located on the 1987 chevy caprice classic station wagon?

I just inherited this fine old care and for the life of me I can't find the spare. There is no manual. I feel stupid.

Check in the back (much like a car with a trunk) under the panel in the floor. you may have to pull the carpet back to locate the opening. Or look under the car (like on a truck). Good luck.

On the right or left side in the rear of the car, below the side window glass,  there will be a panel that opens up.

It is in the back of the wagon under the floor (like it would be in a trunk)
