The speed sensor signal goes into the ABS computer first, where it is processed. From there it goes to the instrument cluster, where there is a computer and it is processed by that computer. Then it goes to the engine computer. Somewhere along the way, the signal is getting lost. Most likely it is in the instrument cluster, however it would be necessary to diagnose further to verify. Diagnosis for this will require, at minimum, a digital volt meter with AC setting, but could require a oscilloscope.

there r 2 of them. they are located on top of the tranny. you have to take out the air box to see them.
