Where is the speedometer cable on a 1991 camaro rs

On a 1991, the speedometer is electronic - there will be a plug on the driver side of the tranny almost all the way at the rear just before the tailshaft housing - this lead runs up and connects into the instrument panel via the contacts at the back of the panel that "plug" into the dash as the instrument cluster is installed.
