Suzanne: YPA I have to agree with your idea of the matter. That's probably what is a part of others not wanting to search the Sabbath issue out with out the blinders on.

  1. Come talk to me! I love the HOLY day of the SABBATH :)

    Keeping it Holy,

  2. It is a very simple statement... there is nothing in The Bible, of the words of Jesus The Christ, or the instructions passed by those taught by Christ personally, which voids The Fourth Commandment or the designation of the seventh day to be The Sabbath. The Sabbath remains as it was given by God, sundown on Friday to sundown on Saturday. No law, doctrine, dogma, or "tradition", of man can change The Sabbath.

  3. In my experience, there are two categories of "Sabbath keepers" who are the greatest source of conflict about this issue:  Seventh Day Adventists (who think that those who worship on Sunday bear the mark of the beast and are unsaved) and Messianic Jews who are ultra-Torah observant (who also think that we must worship on the Sabbath).  It's very difficult for someone to show love for others when they're convinced the other person is evil.

  4. I show love by showing them the scriptures that say that Saturday is God's Holy Day, always has been  - both in the OT and the NT. I do not demonize those who worship on Sunday, but allow the Holy Spirit to convict them in their hearts.

  5. I love you, and that is why I tell you that Jesus himself IS our Sabbath rest.

There is no more worries about "holy places" or "holy days" or rites or rituals or certain prayers or how many times you say the prayers or attending services at certain times.....

All of that is gone. It is all fulfilled in Christ.

    It is finished.

It was for freedom that Christ set us Free.

You need to go study the Bible more and come into the total Freedom instead of worrying about certain rules and days and time and seasons.
