  1. Well it is not terribly hard to get to. If you have the cursed middle aged belly like me you are going to have to raise the car a little.

    Just behind the front fascia and above the radiator baffle you will see a little black plastic piece with 2 wires going to it. This is your ambient air temp sensor.

    If you are replacing it because the reading is inaccurate, take note. When you replace it you will still have a terribly inaccurate reading for about 20 minutes. This is because the temp computer takes random samples to calculate an exact temp. If it didn't do it that way the temp would change about every 2 seconds. It will still have samples stored from your old temp sensor. Once those readings are purged, it will start displaying a good reading.
