  1. just follow the coolant lines going from the engine back to the radiator. The place where the line connects to the engine returning back to the radiator usually houses the thermostat. It will look like a bulge with usually 2 screws but make sure the engine is COMPLETELY cooled down before disconnecting any coolant lines.

  2. first, find your radiator. then find the top hose (usually off to the left side as you are facing the engine from the front.) . follow the top hose to where it connects to the engine. you need to take the hose off the nipple (lol) , then pull the nipple (lol) off by removing the two bolts. the thermostat is a little thing about two inches long, and about an inch wide. it should just pop right out of the engine.

installation is the reverse of removal

NOTE: when installing the tstat, be sure to put the spring end of the tstat into the engine. doing other wise will make your car blow up!! j/k

  3. The thermostat is mounted in the thermostat housing at the end of the coolant inlet hose on the engine block side. There should be 2 or 3 bolts holding the housing cover on.
