The same tube the dipstick came out of. Use a funnel.

Volkswagen has a sealed system, with no dipstick.

They way you fill the trans is by the big 17mm allen nut on the trans pan.  You fill the fluid till it pours out, then start the car.  Using a factory scanner you watch the temperature of the trans fluid.  When it reaches 35 degree's and is slightly drippling out of that fill hole, then it is set at the right level.
