Where is the treasure chest on sims 2 ds?

i got a call from a character and told me i had to find it within 6 hours but i cant find it!!!!! does anyone know where it is??? please help!!! thanks

  1. Have you got the metal detector if yes you have to keep looking around the  desert until you find it
