  1. usually in a small window in the bottom corner of the windscreen.


  2. If the car was built for sale in Germany the new vin could be anywhere if the car is in the US.  Ask the state police from the state where it was licensed  where they commonly put the new vins.

    STAY AWAY FROM 850's they are close to the top of the worst BMW built list..

  3. All 8 series cars were made in Germany!
