Where is the wi-fi sport to use internet for Itouch?

I want to buy an Itouch b/c I wont need to contract and stuff like that like the 3g buy people say I cant use internet if I am not in wi-fi spot, Wheres the wi-fi spot. Also is ITouch worth the money?

I'm enjoying mine. Wifi spots are numerous and easy to find. I bought a wireless router for my home so that when my wife is on the computer (like now for instance) I can still use the Internet.
