Some friends and I are going to Mazatlan on Saturday. They would like to visit their respective religious centers - Catholic and Jewish. Where in the city is the best place for them to go? (Sunday morning services at Church, anytime for the Jewish Synagogue).

Thanks!

  1. As far as I know there are no synagogues in Mazatlan.  See below for the list of all Mexico.

  2. Hi!   Im from Mazatlan, but I have live in Ireland for the past 8 years although I go back every year.  Theres is no synagogue in Mazatlan as far as I know.  The catholic church or Catedral is on the city center rigth across the street from City Hall.  There is a lovely chappel call "capilla de San Jose" as well on the city center (catholic) that deflintly deserves a visit.  Have Good Time on your Holiday.  Theres is Mass everyday at  7:00 am on the catedral and 6:00 pm. Sunday services are at 8:00 am, 10:00 am and 12:00 pm and on the afternoon at 5:00 and 7:00 pm.    Good Luck

  3. The only place where you can find a synagogue  in Mexico is at Mexico City, there are not big jewish communities outside Mexico city
