Where is there genocide going on in the world today?

Genocide is happening in Dafur and in Palestine. Are there any other places that this is happening right now in the world?

Genocide is happening because of European imperialism.  Europeans created the "borders" in Africa and the Middle East.  They had no consideration for the peoples living in those areas, just their own interests in mind.  They grouped people together that shouldn't have been grouped together. And in Israel/Palestine it is a result of the British and French trying to make too many secret and conflicting arrangements. (Sykes-Picot, Hussein-McMahon, and the Balfour Declaration)

yes, in Sudan, and it's tragic.  leaders get power hungry and greedy.  it's been going since pandora opened her box.  what's this world coming to?  why can't we be nice to each other?...is that so hard?

I consider Tibet to be a genocide by the Chinese.  In actual kilings there's probably a lot fewer than when China first took over, but they're still suppressing the culture and jailing people for expressing it.

East Congo has seen more people killed in the last few years than Darfur.  Several million, I believe.   There were more probably people killed in Iraq than in Darfur also.
